COVID-19 Policies and Procedures
My Commitment to Minimize Exposure
My practice has taken steps to reduce the risk of spreading covid-19 within the office.
For all in-person sessions, I wear a KN95/N95 mask, face shield or goggles, and gloves during our appointment. Masks will be provided if you need it. Appointments are staggered to ensure limited exposure to others. I will sanitize the office between each patient. A HEPA air filter and fan will be running at all times, and the sliding door and windows will be open (weather permitting).
To obtain services in person, you agree to take certain precautions which will help keep everyone (you, me, and our families, and other patients) safer from exposure and sickness.
All patients will be asked to:
Use hand sanitizer or wash your hands when you enter the office. Shoes off.
Wear a double mask (surgical/medical procedure mask with a cloth mask on top) or KN95, over your nose and mouth, securely fastened around the ears/head/neck, for the entire length of the session
Have a temperature screening with a contactless forehead thermometer, and if you have a fever of greater than 100.4 degrees, your session will be rescheduled
Have your oxygen saturation screening with a finger pulsox monitor, and if your reading is less than 90 O2 saturation, your session will be rescheduled
Maintain a safe distance when at all possible, understanding that 6 feet will not be possible with massage therapy/physical therapy
Take responsible steps between appointments to minimize your exposure
Complete a covid-19 prescreening agreement
My 24 hour cancelation policy has been updated to allow you to reschedule without penalty if you are showing symptoms.
I may change the above precautions if additional local, state or federal orders or guidelines are published. If that happens, we will talk about any necessary changes.
